You know what we really hate? Burnt pans. Removing the burnt-on stains is not an easy task, and sometimes, it seems that nothing you do works. There’s aren’t many things that can restore the shine of your burnt pans, but this doesn’t mean that you should just throw them out and buy new ones. Today we’re going to show you a simple trick which will clean all your burnt pots and pans and make them shine once again.
The mixture is made of two simple ingredients – vinegar and baking soda. Both ingredients are powerful cleaners and have a slightly abrasive nature, which is exactly what you need in order to make your pots and pans as good as new.
Cleaning the inside of a pan
If the inside of your pan is burnt, you’ll need 2 tablespoons baking soda, a cup of water and a cup of vinegar. Pour the water in the pan, then add the vinegar. Put the pan on the stove and cook the mixture until it boils, then take it off the heat and add the baking soda. The mixture should react and bubble for a few minutes – once it’s done, empty the pan and rub with a nice scrubbing pad. If there are hard stains, add a big of baking soda to remove them.
Cleaning the outside of a pan
Cleaning a burnt outside of a pan is a bit more challenging, but the method is almost the same. Get a bigger tray and fill it with vinegar at the bottom, then add a cup of baking soda and wait for the reaction to pass. Now, put the outside of the pan in the tray and leave it to stay for a full day. After 24 hours, fry the pan with a mixture of baking soda and vinegar and it will shine like the day you bought it!
Try this simple trick and your pots and pans will be as good as new.
